Aaron has been one of my best friends since around 1990. We have a
lot of common interests, and one of the interests we share is trains.
Before moving to Arlington, Aaron lived in Midwest City, Oklahoma on
a small farm which happened to have Santa Fe tracks running right
through it, less than 200 yards from his house. Aaron's interest in trains is a bit more passive than mine. He is not much into railroad models or photography, but one day, he happened to be driving by the BN yard on his usual way home form work, and there I was, just getting out of the car to go take some pictures. He did not seem to be in a hurry, so he stopped to see exactly what this "taking train pictures" that I spend so much time doing is like. I had two cameras along, so I gave him one, and it looks like he did pretty well! |
