Here are five more covered hoppers (22 down, 50 to go). Amazingly, I found a BNSF hopper back in 1997 that already had graffiti on it. I guess it only takes a couple hours. At least they picked a car that didn't have a logo. I kind of doubt it was a frustrated railfan who wanted to see BNSF select a more colorful scheme for their cars. Another car also struck me as interesting since there is a little bit of paint scratched off so you can see the old BN green underneath. The horizontal striping above and below the reporting marks also makes the last three cars stand out, as that was common on late BN cars, and most BN green BNSF cars, but seems to have been phased out now.
