Hi everyone, Well, I'm off to a late start this month, but I have made the usual INDEX updates and am posting ten more images from contributor Kent Charles. Kent sent a CD full of six axle BN power, and today there is the common SD40-2's, the once common but now retired SD45 and some far less common SDP40's. Any true SD45 fans ought to know what is special about SD45# 6430 without a hint. If you need a hint, just look at the image and you will figure it out. While I'm thinking about it, I should also point out "before and after" shots of SD40-2 #6369. Kent caught 6369 looking a little worn in Denver in 1989. Apparently, someone in the BN paint shops agreed that 6369 needed a facelift, and by 1992, it received one - here it is in much cleaner whiteface paint, complete with white separator stripe! |
