Message of the day - September 8, 1996:

Well, well. It's been over two months since I posted anything. What could be the delay? Well, the first two weeks I spent on updating the SF archive, then I the next two weeks I went to California (got lots of SF and a little BN, BNSF, and UP slides), Then I got back and spent the next four catching up with work, registering for school, catching up with people who contributed stuff to the BN archive (returned some stuf a bit later than I had planned - sorry, guys) and catching up again with work, and again at school (still haven't quite caught up there - oh well). I must admit I rode my bike a bit, too. (Yes, another hobby!)
Anyway, I figured it has been long enough and it is time to begin catching up on the BN Archive. I am about 200 images behind, so hopefully, if time permits, I'll break 150 per month for the next couple months to catch up. We'll see!

Anyway, today I have posted a few unusual shots. Still motive power (freight, passenger cars, etc. will have to wait a while longer) but these are close-up detail shots of locomotives I already had the usual roster shots of. If you like this type of stuff, let me know, as I can certainly post more. If you think it's a waste of disk space and bandwidth, I can handle criticism (preferably constructive) too. E-mail your comments to cbiel@sbcglobal.net if you want to express your opinion.

I also made my monthly update (albeit a month late) of the motive power indexes (they now include images posted during July).
