Hi everyone,
Here are five more subjects still in BN paint many years into the BNSF era. None of these quite turn my crank like yesterday's photos of ultra rare SD38-2 #6261, but I do remember when photographing SD40-2 #8073 wondering to myself if this was the last time I would get to photograph a true BN SD40-2. Once there were hundreds, today there are far fewer if any left. I don't remember photographing any since, especially on the lead. I sure was lucky not to have C44-9W #4793 on the point as would be typical. With any luck, I'll live to see the day that BNSF C44-9W's are as rare as BN SD40-2's are now. Enjoy, Charles |
