Hi everyone, Well, I did the monthly index update, and have ten more SD40-2 slides from contributor Kent Charles. While Kent's slides are not all near perfect classic roster shots, he has done something really good with this batch. I'm sure he went out of his way to only send shots of units I did not already have shots of. All ten of today's SD40-2's are units I did not have before, and of the 40 he sent, I only have previous shots of 3 units. When it comes to the ultimate goal of having a decent shot of every unit on the roster, I sure could use more people like Kent! Considering I have nearly half (400 of 838) of the SD40-2's, coming up with 40 I didn't already have is quite an accomplishment! Oh, and for those of you who like to see something a little different, there is one rather unique unit in today's group. To some casual viewers, SD40-2 #7023 might appear to be an SD45. 7023 was involved in a wreck and rebuilt using an SD45 radiator. The only other SD40-2's with this feature are the dual-fueled units.
