Message of the day - November 24, 1996:

Hi everyone,

The two month posting drought is finally over! What can I say - I have been awful busy doing two and a half people's jobs at work. Now I am down to doing one and a half people's jobs, so maybe I'll be able to begin posting again at least once a week. Won't try for much more, as the end of the semester is near, and I'm sure you know what that means....

Today I'm posting an interesting variety of BN equipment. First is a "snow dozer" that you may want to download to keep your digital image collection free of snow drifts. Yup, it's getting to be that time of year again. Next we have a few shots from a couple new contributors.

Greg Hall (the most patient railfan I know) sent me these shots about a year ago, and I am just now getting around to posting them. His shot of five LMX's on the point of a double stack train is particularly interesting.

Tim Harris has not had to wait near that long to see his shots hit the web. There are lots more to come from Tim, but for now, I've posted a few SD40-2's. The last image of the day (one of Tim's) doubles as a little treat for any SP fans out there.

Enjoy! I sure am glad to be back posting again!
