Hi everyone, Here are more slides from new contributor, Bill Weibel. Note that I am have updated his credits page, as well as the credits pages for Donny Dahm and Frank Arnoldy, Jr. I'm still not yet halfway through the nearly 400 BN slides Bill sent for me to pick through (320 of which I scanned). It will take the rest of this month and then some to post them all. Most of the slides in this collection are from the early eighties, so there are several shots of units no longer on the roster, and several ex-Frisco units still in Frisco colors but with BN lettering and number. Today we have some more units in Frisco colors, and we also have a couple sets of before and after rebuild shots to compare. These are both GP40 rebuilds, the first one, GP40 #3005 (before) and GP40E #3552 (after) being an EMD GP40E rebuild, and the second one, GP40 #3010 (before) and GP40M #3512 (after) being a Morrison-Knutsen GP40M rebuild. |
