Hi everyone, Here are more slides from new contributor, Bill Weibel. Bill sent nearly 400 BN slides for me to pick through (I generally don't recommend sending so many at once, but I guess I should not complain...), and since I have scanned 320 of them, it will take the rest of this month and then some to post them all. Most of the slides in this collection are from the early eighties, so there are several shots of units no longer on the roster, and several ex-Frisco units still in Frisco colors but with BN lettering and number. Look very closely at the trucks of F7A #718, and also note this earlier shot. Bill did send me a close-up, but I did not scan it as I thought the roster scan would be good enough to see the oddity. It's not too late though, so if you want a close-up, speak now or forever hold your peace! |
