Message of the day - May 7, 1997:

Hi everyone,

Today I am posting more of my own images. Oddly enough, they all happen to be SD40-2's. Today's highlight is kind of a teaser...it certainly was a teaser for me at the time. I went ahead and posted two shots from similar angles of SD40-2 #7090. The first shot gives a good 3/4 angle of 7090. The second shot shows a better shot of a particlularly interesting BNSF unit to see in Houston at the time. This is the first BNSF C44-9W that I saw on a sunny day. I must have stopped by that Milby St. facility at least half a dozen times at half an hour to hour intervals, hoping to see 7090 move so I could get a clear shot, but no such luck.... Exactly two months later, I finally captured my first sunny-day "pumpkin." Since then, I have captured several in good light, and have traded to get a few more from Moss E. Hulsey.

Hopefully I'll have those BNSF images up two months from now....
