Message of the day - May 20, 2005:

Hi everyone,

Once again, contributor Rick Briney has a sampling of units I have not posted photos of for a long time. Today the elusive subject is the GE U25B. Not so long ago, I did some looking into the engines inside various GE models, and was surprised to find how little they have changed from this first model to the modern day C44-9W's. The new ES44DC's are significantly different, until then, all appear to be enhancements of the original 1960's design.

Enjoy,
Charles
