Hi everyone, Here is the third batch of several SD's from contributor Galen Coupe, all SD40-2's this time. All photos were taken from 1979-1980, and once again, there are a few units that technically still belong to the Colorado & Southern. In the case of SD40-2 #7822, it is rather obvious that it has been recently renumbered from the 900 class to the 7800 class. Also, I may as well mention that 7822 is the only unit that closely matches Kato's latest SD40-2 release. Add a modern anti-climber and the Kato will be pertty close. Modifying the handrails for the modern anticlimber would be a fun little task. |
