Hi everyone,
Today we have continue with the relatively modern EMD power, with a mix of SD40-2's and a lone F45 from contributor Rick Briney. I am starting to second guess whether I should refer to units retired in the 80's as modern or not. Relative to the overall diesel era they are, but relative to the BN perhaps they are not. Anyway, I happened to already have photos of all four SD40-2's and it has been a while since I've pointed out any before and after photo sets. I won't get too into detail, but will go so far as to say that in one case, we have whiteface paint to compare to cascade green which is pretty obvious. In another case we have white numberboards changing to black which isn't quite as obvious. Enjoy, Charles |
