Hi everyone,
Today we still have plenty of vintage EMD six axle power as we finish up with the SD9's and start on the SD24's. Once again, all five photos are from contributor Rick Briney. For those C&S fans out there, note that one of the SD9's is still technically C&S when photographed during March 1981. Also note that SD9 #6231 has the small C&S lettering on the battery box cover just ahead of the "BURLINGTON NORTHERN" lettering on the cab. Enjoy, Charles |
