Hi everyone, Today we have some pretty interesting photos from a pretty interesting place. The photos are from the collection of Al Seever, and all but one is from the 70's. This is quite a variety versus the constant SD70MAC's I've been posting lately. Today's photos are being posted from the pay phone at Izaak Walton Inn in Essex, MT. Traffic has kept me pretty busy since I got here Tuesday, but this afternoon, there has been a bit of a gap, and I have accomplished most of this sitting across the tracks from the hotel waiting for an eastbound. I borrowed a digital 8 video camera, and have had that an the old Minolta side by side on tripods for the several days. It's been quite a trip, with the highlight so far being all three BNSF 5600 class AC4400-9W's on the point of an eastbound coal empty. I'm not sure what I will do with the nearly three hours of video footage, but you can guess what will become of the slides. I'll probably post several large photos from this trip in October. Enjoy, Charles |
