Hi everyone,
Allow me to start off this year much like last year, a bit late, with a set of five of my own photos. I have very few photos of BN motive power of digital origin, and I'm not sure what took me so long to get around to posting these five from 2004 and 2005, but here they are. Four out of five are good old EMD SD40-2's, and I can say that while I have read about it, I never did suffer from "SD40-2 boredom." I can relate to some extent with BNSF C44-9W's, but I have never let that stop me from shooting them. Actually, any BN power left unpatched this long after the BNSF merger was quite a treat, and I recall savoring the moment on each of these. Every once in a while the date of a photo jumps out at me, some are obvious holidays, like New Year's Day and July 4, others are the birthdays of friends and relatives. I must have missed a friend's daughter's 8th birthday back in 2005 to get this pic of SD40-2 #8065. Now she's just about old enough to consider a friend on her own merits!
