Hi everyone, Today I am posting the last nine shots that we will see from Ken Kessler for a while. Hope there will be another package from him in a few months. I am also posting a the first of several images from new contributor Galen Coupe. I am still putting off doing the expanded SD40-2 roster pages for now. It will ba a while before I am back posting SD40-2's again, as all that Galen sent was GE's (that's what I asked him to start off with). There are some neat old ones in there too! I already have a second batch from him that isn't on CD yet, but will be soon. Maybe I'll actually find time to get the SD40-2 pages ready. Maybe not.... I guess I should point out a couple interesting shots - two of today's SD40-2's, # 7850 and 7878 are technically C&S units at the date the photos were taken. There is no real change, since they retained their numbers (and likely the C&S sublettering too) after being officially absorbed into the BN in 1983. |
