Hi everyone, Here are five more photos from Kirk Orndorff, all SD9's. I would have guessed all five are still in service on the BNSF, but checking Del Grosso's latest 2000-2001 BNSF book reveals that BN 6183 was apparently never renumbered/relettered to BNSF 6183. It was retired in May 1999 and sold in October 1999. Coincidentally, while looking over the SD9's in the book, I noticed a photo of BNSF SD9 #6128, complete with Hertiage I paint by none other than Kirf Orndorff! Enjoy, Charles |
