Hi everyone, Here are ten more slides, all EMD GP's. Only the two GP50's are wearing their first number and coat of paint. One rather interesting shot is GP40-2 #3063. The area where the road number is has been repainted in a rather suspicious manner. Most of the former C&S units were similarly repainted when renumbered into the BN number series. I haven't seen record of the ex-SLSF GP40-2's having more than one BN number...but the photo does make me wonder. All ten photos are from what I call "the best of the Moss E. Hulsey collection." One day several months ago, I dropped by Moss' place with about 100 really nice SP slides, and talked him into letting me borrow some of his best BN slides out of his precious carousels to scan for the website. I left with 144 slides, and the next four days will be all photos by Moss. |
