Hi everyone, I have one last shot of a 7200, and this time it is a unit I had previous photos of, but they weren't taken by me and the unit was not in Texas or Oklahoma at the time. To make things interesting today, I have two topics to discuss. The easy one is simply pointing out the unique paint scheme worn by SD40-2 #7812. I have plenty of photos of this unit in this rare paint scheme variation, and I should also note that this was the last unit painted in BN green. The other topic relates to details. Once again I have several photos of a few units that lost the strobe flashers in favor of ditch lights. SD40-2 #7270 is one before and after example and I also have before and after photos of SD40-2 #7830. Previously posted photos were enough to show the same change on SD40-2 #7808 and I should also point out that 7812 mentioned above still features strobes in the most recent March 2000 photo.
