Hi everyone,
Here are five more photos from contributor Rick Briney, four EMD GP20's and a lone EMD GP38-2. Once again, these additional photos allow some before and after opportunities. New paint, headlight relocation from nose (low) to cab (high) and rotary beacon presence and type are among the changes that I have noticed. GP20 #2062 has me somewhat confused, as what I believe is the earlier photo shows the unit with a more modern style rotary beacon as apposed to the photo with the headlight relocated to the cab (high) and relatively fresh paint. So much for my using the type of rotary beacon as a way to help guess when a photo was taken. Enjoy, Charles |
