Hi everyone,
Here are five more BN photos from Chris Stewart. I had prior photos of all units this time, but before and after opportunities like this are always a treat. Especially when different paint schemes or rebuilds are invovled. Today, BN #5111 shows that differences are hard to pick out as a C30-7 rebuilt to a C33-7, espcially since this is the first C33-7 photo I have noted where the numberboards do not appear to be red, as can barely be seen on C33-7 #5577. For a much easier to appreciate before and after example, BN C30-7 #5114 looks quite different in cascade green versus whiteface paint, and if you look for details such as rotary beacons and ditch lights, changes are apparent there as well. And for something even more different, I do not think I will get the opportunity to feature very many ex-BN C30-7's on lease back to the BN (or BNSF) so enjoy this view of ATGX C30-7 #5526. The heritage of this unit should be quite obvious. Enjoy, Charles |
